Drédeir Roberts is an American lawyer with a legal practice that covers all aspects of creation.  She obtained her B.A. in English and Crime, Law, Justice from The Pennsylvania State University. and her Juris Doctor from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law. 

Her practice includes legal entity formation, intellectual property, physical property, construction, design, and technology. She is currently employed as General Counsel to Core States Group, a nationwide design-build firm. Her professional associations include leadership roles in the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section, as Co-Chair of the Corporate Counsel Committee and Vice Chair of the AI and Robotics Subcommittee and the Corporate Counsel Committee. She was also appointed to the American Bar Association’s Construction Law Forum’s Technology Committee. 

Drédeir also gives back to the local artist and entrepreneur community through her pro bono work with the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and the Philadelphia VIP organizations. Informed by her own identities (black, gay, woman) often intersecting, Drédeir’s key legal insights focus on the intersections of multiple legal property rights and theories that combine during creation. Creativity impacts all areas of the law and thus so does Drédeir’s practice. 

Drédeir has published articles and briefs for both the American Bar Association’s Business Law Today publication and the Association of Corporate Counsel’s ACC Docket publication. Her topics range from intellectual property to cyber security.
